The Heaven Below Us

I recently participated in an Erasmus+ project titled The Heaven Below Us, held in the picturesque setting of Lhotka u Mělníka from August 1st to 9th, 2024. This project was a reunion of a previous initiative in Spain, where the idea for this gathering was first conceived and planned.

The focus of the project was on deepening our connection with nature, exploring meditation practices, and understanding how nature can enhance our daily lives. Over the course of nine days, we engaged in non-formal learning, participating in various workshops that covered topics such as plant care, gardening, meditation, relaxation techniques, environmental issues, and the use of herbs.

In addition to our activities at the camp, we had the opportunity to visit Prague and Mělník. A particularly memorable highlight was a fascinating lecture with a representative from CHKO, who introduced us to the enchanting landscapes of the Mělník fields.

The experience was not only educational but also enjoyable, as we strengthened our bonds of friendship and deepened our connection with the natural world. I am incredibly grateful for this unforgettable experience.
