Project report:
The third mobility of Erasmus+ project „Be Informed Not Disinformed“ took place in Zagreb, Croatia in September 2023. There were participants from 4 countries: Croatia, Czechia, Slovakia and Poland.
The first day of our Erasmus+ project was an exciting start filled with various activities to foster connections and build teamwork. We kicked off the day with fun introduction games, breaking the ice and getting to know our fellow participants from different corners of Europe. In the afternoon, we embarked on a city exploration game, where we navigated the charming streets of our host city, discovering its history and culture while working together to solve clues and complete challenges. It was a fantastic way to immerse ourselves in the local surroundings and bond with our newfound friends.
On the second day of our program, we commenced with informative meetings with disinformation experts in Croatia and the Czech Republic. Subsequently, our exploration expanded to include Poland and Slovakia, providing us with valuable insights into the regional nuances of this issue. Later in the day, we enjoyed a unique experience as we assumed the roles of ambassadors, presidents, and other influential figures. This immersive exercise provided a deeper understanding of the challenges these leaders face. The day reached its zenith with a captivating United Nations debate simulation on disinformation. This engaging discussion enhanced our awareness of global disinformation challenges, leaving us inspired to combat them collectively.
During the third day we were working on dissemination of the main topic of the project. Working in groups we created materials, which can be used in social media. We want to show more people what is the issue and what kind of solutions might be taken to protect disinformation to spread, also try somehow contribute to more critical way of thinking about informations. The last part of this mobility ceremony of Youthpass certificate was held.
