Smartphone for Employability
The aim of the “Smartphone for Employability” project is to increase the employability of young people by educating them about the workings of the labour market and providing them with practical tips on creating CVs, cover letters, interviews and other skills important for future career prospects. An important part of the project is also an emphasis on digital literacy and learning current tools and applications.
Activities
Workshops
The project will hold 5 workshops for young people in each of the participating countries. The seminars will focus on the development of employability skills. Specific goals and impacts:
1. Emphasising the benefits of employability skills, highlighting their importance in securing and maintaining employment.
2. Participants will gain an overview of digital tools and platforms that are essential for modern job search and career development.
3. The workshops will focus on giving participants skills in CV and cover letter writing and personal branding.
4. Participants will learn basic interview techniques, including how to prepare, speak confidently and respond effectively to interview questions.
5. Networking: Participants will learn strategies for networking, with an emphasis on expanding their professional contacts and access to job opportunities.
6. Workshops will encourage participants to explore innovative career paths and consider entrepreneurship as a viable option.
7. Participants will develop basic financial literacy skills, including budgeting, saving and planning for future career goals.
Study visit
The study visit took place in Prague at the turn of January and February 2025. The program included lectures by experts in the fields of HR and the labor market, as well as visits to relevant organizations. In addition to the sessions led by external experts, we also focused with the participants on enhancing employability, case studies of successful initiatives, and, of course, cultural exchange and networking. A total of 12 people from the Czech Republic, North Macedonia, and Romania took part in the study visit.

The publication emphasizes current employer expectations, digital literacy, and the use of modern technologies to help young job seekers become competitive and confident in the labor market. Educational videos (Coming Soon)
The project outputs will include six educational videos and brochures that will summarize the work done so far and provide tips and tricks for a wider audience. The videos will be available on the project’s YouTube channel and promoted through the communication channels of our organizations.
