Project report
I recently had the privilege of participating in an Erasmus+ youth exchange program titled NextGen: YouthPreneurs, held in the serene and inspiring setting of Vatra Dornei, Romania, from November 14th to 24th, 2024. Organized by the “Initiative Sociale” Association, this remarkable project brought together 45 young individuals and 8 group leaders from 8 different EU countries, all united by the shared mission of fostering entrepreneurial mindsets to address youth unemployment.
Over the course of 10 days, we engaged in diverse and dynamic non-formal learning activities aimed at cultivating entrepreneurial attitudes, skills, and knowledge. Through hands-on workshops, team-building exercises, and resource-sharing sessions, we explored various aspects of entrepreneurship, personal development, and intercultural exchange. The program was not only an opportunity to learn but also a platform to network, collaborate, and form meaningful relationships with peers from across Europe.
A particularly enriching highlight was the opportunity to participate in discussions that emphasized lifelong learning, teamwork, and civic engagement. These moments were complemented by cultural activities that deepened our appreciation for European values and diversity. The setting of Vatra Dornei, with its picturesque landscapes, further enhanced the experience, creating an environment that inspired creativity and collaboration.
This youth exchange allowed me to gain practical skills, foster new connections, and reflect on how entrepreneurial thinking can contribute to personal and professional growth. It was an unforgettable journey of learning, discovery, and empowerment, for which I am immensely grateful.
