Project report
Between 6th and 16th June 2024, five of us took part in a youth exchange in Romania on the topic of youth employment together with other participants from Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Poland and Turkey. All the Czech participants agreed that by participating in this project we gained useful information and experience about the labour market, for example how to write a good CV or how to prepare for a job interview.
In the middle of the project we had a study visit to Dracula’s Castle and the centre of Brasov and had the opportunity to learn more about the culture and history of Transylvania. In addition to this visit, we were provided with traditional Romanian cuisine and had the opportunity to sample the flavours of Romania. We learnt about the traditions and cultures of the other participating countries during three intercultural evenings where we learnt new information about the countries, danced traditional dances and tasted national food and drink.
I think I speak for the entire Czech team when I say that the 11 days in Predeal were unforgettable.
